About the Artists (biography)

Biography
Amsterdam based Singer Songwriter, Shaun Spencer writes & composes melodies & lyrical content suitable for TV & Film.

Shaun was born in Cape Town South Africa, where he resided until 1991. After relocating to Amsterdam in 1992, he started work on his debut album “Absence of Coincidence”. First released in 1997, the 14 track album sold 500 copies with self distribution & promotion.

March 2006 brought new prospects to the singer /songwriter. With the aid of the internet, he was able to establish new outlets for his music. 
Joining the CDBABY network he started off with a consignment deal of 5 copies and a one time only $35.00 packaging & handling fee for the re-release of the album “Absence of Coincidence”.

As a singer/songwriter Shaun, was creating music from an early age and composes most of his works on acoustic guitar. His debut CD, recorded in the UK, received airplay on local radio & TV in Amsterdam.
